Woof, it's been a couple months since my last update! A lot has happened recently and I've had all my energy focused elsewhere. The Summer is a busy time at the bar I work at, and I've been working later hours than I have in a long time! My best friends also just had a baby, and they named my wife and I the godparents! I am so endlessly grateful that they've trusted us with that responsibility and I'm so excited to see their baby grow. Additionally my brother and sister in law just had a baby shower! I'm going to be an uncle! It's a very baby time in my life.
Two months of hiatus is also long enough that I have a lot of new music to yap about, In particular I've been hooked on a folk band called the Crane Wives, and a Japanese shoegaze band called Kinokoteikoku. I'm realizing now that this blog post is going to have very little direction. It may be before noon, but I've been getting home between 3am and 4am lately so it's quite early for me, and my brain feels like jelly. I'm going to be posting more often for a bit now and just pushing a post out feels like shaking off the mold. So stay tuned for next time when I get to squeeze another post out!
